Growing up in rural Texas, I spent my summers working in my dad’s business—building stock tanks, ranch roads, and clearing old fence lines. Wandering those farms and ranches sparked a lifelong curiosity in me about the land and its stories. In 2019, after a decade of experience and success in the Oil & Gas surveying industry, I felt called back to focus on the land and the people that owned it again.
I founded Waymaker to focus on meaningful, personalized work: helping landowners and families make better decisions about their land for today and tomorrow. It’s an opportunity to leverage our skills and talents, being ‘salt & light’ while also providing guidance and discovering what’s possible with a piece of land—helping someone accomplish something together that they just can’t do on their own.
